5 Pieces for Orchestra
An ethereal wash of orchestral sound, lusciously orchestrated to perfection. ... Magnificent.

An exciting and highly engaging series of entertaining and beautifully colourful sonic events unfold, building up here and there, and then dissipating and fragmenting ....; all held tightly together and being given coherence by the frequent use of a permutation of ...(the SDHC).. motif. Very enjoyable.

Diversion for Errant Wind
Great fun, and..
This is a well-crafted delight. Although it is the theatrics and quoting horseplay that claim the most obvious attention, the great skill in instrumental writing is more impressive still.
Michael Morse

Very entertaining
This very humorous piece would be great fun to play, perhaps as an encore, and would, I suspect, be greatly enjoyed by the audience.

Musical Comedy
This is the funniest piece of music I have ever heard (and seen). In performance it would be even funnier than the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band's performance of the 1812 Overture (and by gosh that was funny). If ever a bunch of people needed a good laugh, it's your typical chamber music audience, so I hope this piece is played often and that any member of the audience not laughing at the end should be tied to a double bass and tickled to the point of exhaustion. Musically (to be serious for a second) it is beautifully constructed and must be a great (though fun) challenge to the musicians lucky enough to be good enough to play it.

Images in a shattering mirror
I really enjoyed this piece, especially the sections which changed time signature a lot, keeping the music unpredictable and exciting. You also managed to capture the title perfectly in the music (or the other way round I don't know)... you really managed to engage me in the music and make me want to keep listening instead of clicking stop and going to listen to another score.

Silent Nightmare on Gruber Street
Lots of fun
This is a marvelous lighthearted treatment of horror film music, all under the guise of "Silent Night". Definitely one of the most amusing pieces I have seen on Sibeliusmusic. I love seeing a composer who is not afraid to take himself a little less seriously from time to time.

Hysterical!
I've not laughed this hard at a piece of music ever! Although a challenge to perform this would be a hit with an audience. Any brave community or college orchestra directors willing to give it a shot? I believe the work would be worth it.
